Statements like, "She's such a slut", "Did you see what she was wearing", "OMG, that whore" are common among women. While it is absolutely not ok for a man to comment on a woman's clothes or her dressing sense, women engage in slut shaming no end themselves. While men don't expect women to pick up swords or jump off rooftops, they hate women who cry feminism at every corner and then just dump all the hard-work on men's shoulders. Equality should be present in every aspect. But whenever women are asked to do intensive labour or do a heavy task, they brush it off saying it is a man's task. Also, women often claim they are as good and as strong as men when it comes to certain things like household work and in the workplace. While feminism, to a certain extent, promotes equality between men and women, women are using feminism to blame anything and everything on men. The term 'feminism' in India has taken on interesting connotations. Expecting your guy to pay every time just because he's a guy is so wrong! While guys don't expect women to pay, they hate it when women judge them based on the size of their wallets or expect them to foot every bill. If the woman is earning, she too needs to contribute to family and household expenses. Of course, you need money to survive in these times of inflation but expecting every guy to be a sugar daddy is just wrong. Women are standing shoulder to shoulder with men and yet, when it comes to things like finalising a groom for marriage, the most important thing on a girl's mind is the guy's salary. And for the Indian woman, it is a time of liberation. _LISTSEPARATOR_START_Expecting the partner to be extremely well-earning. Obviously, it irritates men that it is perfectly acceptable for girls to look at a man and sometimes even comment and giggle (in groups) but dare a man try and even smile at a girl. But if he glances at you in passing, he probably only thinks how pretty you look. Definitely go and slap the guy if he crosses his boundaries. We aren't encouraging men to stare at women here but women need to understand that sometimes, just as a good-looking or extremely dashing man arrests their attention, an extremely beautiful or charming woman attracts the attention of men. While it's ok for women to openly look at and admire men, if a man so much as tries to even glance at a woman (and we're not talking of ogling or lustfully staring here) he is labelled a cheapo and despo. Indian women tend to have double standards when it comes to men. Guys hate it when you judge them without any reason. Agreed, there have been too many cases of eve teasing and sexual abuse in the country off late but that does not mean every man is looking at you with dirty intentions.

If the latter sounds hideous and ridiculous, you assuming every man to be a molester and a rapist is plain stupid. This, girls, is just like saying every girl who wears a short skirt is a slut.

_LISTSEPARATOR_START_Every man is a potential molester. Girls and guys can be "just friends", ya know? Just give them poor guys a break and don't judge them for once. Indian girls tend to go overboard when it comes to judging guys who text or call girls. Just because a guy pings a girl, it does not mean he's interested in her romantically or has an ulterior motive. _START_Assuming every guy is interested in them.
